Some Christmas layouts

I always enjoy my post-Christmas scrapbooking of photos sent by friends & family. It seems like the photos are barely out of the cards before I am setting up the layouts.

This first layout shows 3 generations (wow!) of my brother-in-law's family. I didn't want to do the traditional caption with all their names so instead cut out the presents from a patterned paper, then added computer-generated tags with each person's name. There wasn't really any aesthetically pleasing way to lay out the gifts so that you could tell which name matched which person so I settled on a jumble. The title is just some old alpha stickers coloured (with Copics) to tone down the whiteness.

Supplies: Martha Stewart border punch

These gorgeous kids belong to my friend Corinne. I used these adorable cardstock stickers and then jazzed them up with Stickles so that they would sparkle like the kids' smiles. The background paper is actually just plain brown card that I stamped snowflakes on (using Versamark).

Supplies: Versamark ink, miscellaneous snowflake stamps, Stickles glitter glue, Reminisce "Santa's Workshop" stickers

This last layout shows my husband's niece Amy along with her daughter Stephanie. I can't get over how much Stephanie is looking like her Mom! The scan doesn't really do this layout justice as there is tonnes of shine & dimesion that isn't apparent. I added glossy accents to all of the flourishes as well as to the ribbons/bows of the gifts. I cut the top curlicue enough to insert the picture corner then I scanned and fussy-cut another curlicue for the bottom left.

Supplies: Glossy accents, BoBunny "Holiday Cheer" patterned paper

  1. Excellent layouts, and they are all so different in techniques. I love the little tags on the Christmas Presents. Totally cute stickers on the 2nd one, I'm jealous! The last one was very inventive, I thought it might have been a digital layout, cause it looked so perfect.
