Just a quick post today and no, I haven't missed the fact that Spring is here (although it's kind of hard to believe considering the rain that's been falling). Today's card is in answer to a challenge from Phindy's Place - to make a Christmas card.
I had lots of fun pulling out the Christmas papers and looking through the winter images. I decided on this one of a boy sledding as he reminds me of my kids when they were sledding this past winter. I created the snowy hills by tearing and inking (with Copic BG0000) the edges of some sparkly paper recovered from last Christmas' crackers. I love how it looks like he's flying over the top of the snow!
Recipe:
Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses" patterned paper
Sparkly card (stash, old Christmas crackers)
Brad (stash)
Phindy's Place, digital stamp
Copic markers
Challenges:
Phindy's Place Challenge - Christmas in Spring
Corrosive Challenges - easel card
Paper Sundaes - easel card
I love this image so much, It reminds me of my two terrors in the snow last year too!
