Happy anniversary

Today is my 9th wedding anniversary (and boy, I never thought we would make it this far) and so here is the card that I made for my husband. The images are from Bugaboo Stamps and although they don't bear any physical resemblance, I really think the attitude is pretty right on.

I chose green as it is DH's favourite colour but I had to put the wife (me) in bright pink because that's my favourite. I used papers from Basic Grey along with some knotted cord that my son found on the playground (honestly, how is that for the ultimate in recycling?). The card sketch is from Truly Scrumptious - I followed it pretty faithfully aside from changing the sentiment patch to a series of 3 pearls.

Luckily DH has a good sense of humour ... and I gave him the card after a very decadent dinner. LOL.

    Fabulous, love the 'happy' couple and that hilarious sentiment. I think the pink is perfect it just lifts it all.
